## Requirements and scope

Before choosing a business account, compare supported currencies, customer countries, payment types and the bank's applicant requirements. For Emirates NBD, prepare the trade/commercial licence, applicable constitutional/authorisation documents, shareholder or partner identity documents and tenancy contract. The bank verifies the application before activation.

ADCB's checklist includes licence/registration records, applicable powers of attorney, signatory/partner/beneficial-owner identification, address evidence and applicable constitutional or board documents. Its Smart Start account is restricted to domestic AED transactions, illustrating why product selection matters. These are bank-specific checklists, not a universal approval promise or an account-opening deadline.
