Approval must be obtained before the license issuance; this means that you will submit the application. Once the required documents are generated in the final stage (after the license application passes the security check), we will send the documents across to apply for the approval. The client must apply online through the website www.khda.gov.ae > E-services login > Register using the client’s credentials To register, the client must type his company name and select “training institute.” We will provide you with the below from IFZA, after which you must upload them in the “certifying agent” tab as a new “agent”: • Initial approval • Signed Resolution • Trade Name Reservation • Third party approval letter. All other requirements will be mentioned when the client will login. Client must share the initial license with KHDA upon issuance for their final permit then client will share the final permit with IFZA to receive the final license. Duration: 2-3 weeks. Charges: 15,000AED for 1-2 activities. 18,000AED for 3-4 activities. Renewable every year.
Free zone or mainland
- IFZA lists this activity; Ajman Free Zone does not carry it under the same name, so confirm the Ajman catalogue before switching lanes.
- We hold no Dubai DET record for this activity, so treat mainland as unverified here rather than unavailable.
- Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) clearance is required before the licence issues, which breaks any advertised same-week timeline.
Also catalogued elsewhere
The same activity name appears in other authority catalogues we track. This is a name match, not a legal equivalence, and Dubai Setup Index does not file in these zones.

FAQ
Can I add more activities to a Computer Training licence later?
Usually yes, as a licence amendment, subject to the authority's rules and any extra approval attached to the new line.
Does this activity need third-party approval?
Yes. Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) must clear the activity before the licence issues, so build that step into your timeline.
