Acceptance

These terms govern your use of Dubai Setup Index at dubaisetupindex.com, including its data files, API and MCP server. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the site.

We may revise these terms. The date above marks the last substantive revision; continued use after a revision is acceptance of it.

What this site is

Dubai Setup Index publishes guides to setting up a company in Dubai and the UAE: free zone packages and starting prices, permitted business activities, the Dubai mainland (DET) licence route, setup cost estimates, documents, timelines and visa notes. Every figure carries its source and the date it was last checked.

It is a reference guide. It is not a licensing authority, a government service or a law firm. Licences, visas and permits are issued only by the relevant authority, on that authority's terms.

Not legal, tax or immigration advice

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting or immigration advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to choose a particular jurisdiction, licence or provider. Setup rules, fees and visa conditions change, and they depend on facts about you that we do not know.

Confirm every licence line, fee and visa condition with the issuing authority, and take professional advice, before you file or pay.

Accuracy and limits of the data

Figures come from authority websites, published fee schedules and price lists, and other public sources named on each page. We publish the source and the date each figure was checked, and we mark facts that are not published as not published rather than estimating them.

We do not warrant that any figure is complete, current or free of error. Authorities change fees and packages without notice, published prices often exclude government charges, and an estimate is only as good as the inputs and published rates behind it. Estimates state what they include and what they leave out; read both.

Setup services

Some guides offer to handle a setup for you. Those enquiries go to JustMove (justmovedubai.com): "Get a quote" opens its cost calculator and "WhatsApp" opens a chat with its business number. Any quote, engagement, payment or application is between you and JustMove, on its terms, not ours.

Whether a jurisdiction is marked as handled by us has no bearing on the facts we publish about it. Every jurisdiction is documented with the same sourcing rules.

AI assistants

You can connect an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to our MCP server. The assistant reads the same published data the site shows. We do not control how an assistant summarises, combines or presents it, and we are not responsible for what it says. Check figures against the linked page before relying on them.

Acceptable use

You may read, cite and link to anything published here. You may not:

• scrape, crawl or call the API or MCP server at a rate or volume that degrades the service for others, or in circumvention of robots.txt or published rate limits
• republish the guides or any substantial extract of them as a competing dataset or product
• present our figures as official fees, or as your own research
• use the site to break any law or any rule of a UAE licensing authority that applies to you
• attempt to access non-public parts of the service, share account credentials, or interfere with its operation

Intellectual property

Official fee schedules, regulations and activity lists belong to the authorities that publish them. The guides themselves — the selection, the comparisons, the written explanations, the estimates, the design and the code — are ours.

You may quote figures with attribution to Dubai Setup Index and a link to the page they came from. Systematic reproduction needs our written permission.

Third-party sites

The site links to authorities, free zones, setup providers and other sites run by other people. Those links are references, not endorsements, and we have no control over and take no responsibility for what is on the other end of them.

Liability

The site is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site — including fees paid, applications refused, penalties, lost profit or lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
