Route and permissions
Choose the actual operation: arranging freight, carrying goods, clearing customs and operating a warehouse are different tasks. For commercial transport activities covered by RTA, its service activates the relevant inactive DET activity or supplies an NOC for a free-zone trade licence. For transactions with Dubai Customs, register the business to obtain its customs code using the trade licence and authorised person’s identity documents.
A customs code is not a freight-transport licence. Identify the transport mode and operating role before building the permit checklist.
